Delay across two or more developmental domains under age five.
Global developmental delay is diagnosed when a child under five is significantly delayed in two or more areas: motor, speech, cognition, social skills or self-care. It is a working description, not a lifelong label, and requires multidisciplinary investigation and therapy.

- Difficulty learning daily routines
